The Chess Gala on International Chess Day @ Tech Mahindra, Nal Stop, Pune

The Chess Gala was a huge success thanks to the Tech Mahindra team & participants, for investing time. On the occasion of International Chess Day Tech M has provided a good platform to their chess lover employees with VCA. During the activity, participants & visitors were enjoying the Games, Puzzles, and awards.

3rd IITPK U-15 Open Chess Tournament

We would like to thank all the 150 participants for their enthusiastic participation in 3rd happened on 26th June 2022 It was the first offline tournament in the series, where chess players learned, and enjoyed every moment.

2nd IITPK U-15 Open Chess Tournament

We are very happy with the sheer number of participants engaged in creating a better future through chess games. 2nd U-15 Pune Open Online Tournament Conducted on 15th May 2022. 71 participants were playing under the guidance of FIDE-rated faculties.

Winning moment at West Zone Inter University Women's Chess Tournament, Gujrat

We are very happy with the One of our students Disha Dhore participated in West Zone Inter University Women's Chess Tournament held at Auro University, Surat, Gujrat from 9th April to 13th April 2022. Total 300 players from 46 universities participated in the tournament. SSPU team won 5 rounds and drawn 2 rounds to claim the title. Disha's performance in tournament was excellent as she helped the team to win the tournament. SPPU team stood first and got selected for Nationals which will be held at SRM University Chennai from 20th to 22nd April 2022 Congratulations and best wishes for Nationals to entire team of SPPU

First U-15 Pune Open Chess Tournament

Test your IQ level with a chess tournament" The IITian's Prashikshan Kendra in association with Victorious chess academy is going to conduct five U-15 Pune open chess tournaments in the year 2022 starting from April month.

Gukesh wins Late Shailesh Nerlikar Memorial Online Blitz Open

GM Gukesh D and GM Aravindh Chithambaram both scored 7.5/9, however Gukesh won Late Shailesh Nerlikar Memorial Online Blitz Open due to a better tie-break score. Aravindh was placed second. Six players finished with 7.0/9, out of them IM Terry Renato of Peru secured the second runner-up position according to the tie-break score. Victorious Chess Academy organized this event and sponsored Rs.33000 total prize fund, IM Sagar Shah contributed another Rs.12000 to make the total prize fund Rs.45000. Total 102 players including 10 GMs, 15 IMs, 2 WGMs and 4 WIMS from India, Ireland, Peru, Russia and USA took part in this event.

Late Shailesh Nerlikar Memorial Online Blitz Open on 27th June

The Late Shailesh Nerlikar Memorial Online Blitz Open occurred on June 27th. Victorious Chess Academy hosted the event, featuring a total prize pool of Rs.33,000. Entry was complimentary for GMs, IMS, WGMs, and WIMs. Players from across the globe were welcomed to participate.
